Even though there are standardized milestones that are widely accepted in the arena of child development, we acknowledge that your kiddo may present with different skills, abilities, interests, and perspectives than his or her peers. We’ll work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan that will tackle your child’s worst behavioral problems in an environment that is most beneficial to your child.
Variety of Therapy Models
As a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and a former president of the California Association of Play Therapists, Mary Ruth is no stranger to play when it comes to child development. She and her staff of interns have created an environment conducive to the most imaginative of kiddos. Hands-on interaction with puppets, masks, and the sand tray are critical to the way play therapy works. If your child is interested, we even have Emma, the chihuahua mix pet therapy dog, who is an attentive listener and willing cuddler.
