Faith Ho is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#141549) with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, emphasizing Expressive Arts. Her clinical work integrates traditional psychotherapy with creative, experiential methods, offering clients a dynamic and flexible path to healing. Faith is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges by fostering resilience, emotional expression, and personal growth.
Faith’s clinical focus is rooted in the belief that creativity is a powerful vehicle for connection and transformation. Trained in expressive arts therapy, she incorporates art, movement, music, storytelling, and play into sessions as ways to help clients explore feelings that are often difficult to put into words. She believes there is no “right” or “wrong” way to create—only opportunities for authentic self-expression.
As a bilingual therapist (English and Mandarin) with international roots—growing up in Taiwan and England before settling in California—Faith brings a multicultural perspective to her work. She is especially committed to working with children, for whom art and play are natural languages. In her clinical experience, she has found that creative expression provides children with safe and developmentally appropriate ways to process grief, anxiety, trauma, and identity struggles while strengthening confidence and self-awareness.
Faith’s approach blends expressive arts therapy with evidence-based practices from family systems theory, attachment-informed models, and child-centered play therapy. She emphasizes collaboration with families, recognizing the importance of creating supportive environments that extend beyond the therapy room. Her practice is guided by empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for each client’s unique story.
Outside of her professional role, Faith is a mother, an animal lover, and a creative soul. She enjoys hiking with her dog, playing the cello, crocheting, journaling, and experimenting with new recipes. These personal passions reflect the same values she brings into therapy—connection, creativity, and authenticity.
Faith is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their emotions, embrace creativity, and discover meaningful pathways toward healing and well-being.
